This is the classic Reynolds Bass Trombone made famous by Allen Ostrander and Kauko Kahila. This is a just a magnificent playing horn. We installed a new slide crook guard and new “cork barrel” and brace tube in order to fit the slide with a slide lock (which didn’t exist on the original Reynolds bass bones). It is an early professional model bass trombone and is very highly regarded and is highly recommended for serious players from late high school to professional and is especially ideal for a player that doubles on tenor or valve bone or someone starting out on bass bone.
